recent weeks about Kate’s health ahead of her message today that cancer was found following an operation last January. And now she has urged people to respect her family’s privacy as she
undergoes chemotherapy, while also saying that her focus is now on “making a full recovery”. She stated: “We hope that you will understand that, as a family, we now need some time, space and
privacy while I complete my treatment. My work has always brought me a deep sense of joy and I look forward to being back when I am able, but for now I must focus on making a full

be returning to public duties until after Easter following abdominal surgery, and now the princess has said that cancer was found after that operation. She said: “In January, I underwent
major abdominal surgery in London and at the time, it was thought that my condition was non-cancerous. The surgery was successful. However, tests after the operation found cancer had been
present. My medical team therefore advised that I should undergo a course of preventative chemotherapy and I am now in the early stages of that treatment. Article continues below “This of
course came as a huge shock, and William and I have been doing everything we can to process and manage this privately for the sake of our young family.” There has been criticism about the
extent of the rumours that have been circulating about Kate’s health including the veracity of a video that showed her last Saturday at Windsor Farm Shop with Prince William. While three
staff members from The London Clinic, where Kate had her operation, are being investigated for allegedly trying to access her medical records after she was was discharged. After The Mirror’s
world exclusive was picked up around the world this week, sources have said that “up to three people” could be involved in to trying to view the private information. Sources said the
criminal investigation, described as “unprecedented” and now being run by the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO), could run alongside an additional probe by the Metropolitan
