11:32, 20 May 2025 Cassie's mother Regina Ventura is set to take the stand in Sean Diddy Combs' trial today. The singer's mother will speak at the trial today following Dawn

Richard's time on the stand. The 55-year-old faces a number of charges, including racketeering conspiracy, sex ­trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and transportation to engage in

prostitution. He was arrested in September and strongly denies all allegations made against him. He has been in prison since his arrest and a number of bail requests have been rejected. At

the end of yesterday's proceedings, it was confirmed by the court that a male escort, Combs' former personal chef and Cassie Ventura's mother Regina Ventura will all take to

the stand today, whilst witness David James will continue his testimony. Just yesterday, Combs' former personal assistant David James said he had told Cassie she should bail on the

"crazy" party lift with Diddy early into their relationship. During a trip to Miami, David testified Cassie told him: "Man, this lifestyle is crazy." Article continues

below He then said he asked her: "Cassie, if it’s so crazy, why don’t you just leave?" To which she replied: "I can’t get out. Mr. Combs oversees so much of my life,"

before telling him that she depended on Sean for her career, her home and her salary. It was also claimed that Diddy had attempted to hit Cassie with a "black skillet". While

testifying, Dawn Richard claimed she witnessed Diddy drag Cassie upstairs by her hair. She also alleged to have seen Diddy using a black skillet to try to hit Cassie over the head when he

was angry. "He started to punch and kick her ... body and her head," Dawn told the court, "I was scared for her and scared to do anything. She said she didn't try to

intervene and didn't call the police, in part because "I had never seen anything like that before." Shortly after testifying, Cassie's lawyer, Doug Wigdor released a

statement on her behalf where he said the past few days had been "challenging" for her. Cassie's statement read: "This week has been extremely challenging, but also

remarkably empowering and healing for me. For me, the more I heal, the more I can remember. "And the more I can remember, the more I will never forget. I want to thank my family and my

advocates for their unwavering support, and I’m grateful for all the kindness and encouragement that I have received. I'm glad to put this chapter of my life to rest. As I turn to focus

on the conclusion of my pregnancy, I ask for privacy for me and for my growing family." Her husband Alex Fine also issued a statement, adding: "Over the past five days, the world

has gotten to witness the strength and bravery of my wife. There has been speculation online surrounding how it must feel for me to sit there and listen to my wife's testimony. I have
