CASSIE VENTURA'S MUM, REGINA VENTURA, WAS CALLED TO THE WITNESS STAND IN THE TRIAL OF P. DIDDY ON TUESDAY THE WEEK AFTER HER DAUGHTER SPENT FOUR DAYS TESTIFYING AGAINST THE RAPPER

09:10, 21 May 2025Updated 09:19, 21 May 2025 Cassie Ventura's mum claimed she was "physically sick" when P. Diddy, real name Sean Combs, allegedly threatened to release two

sex tapes of her daughter. Regina Ventura was called to the witness stand on Tuesday the week after Cassie, 38, spent four days testifying against the rapper, 55. During her testimony,

Regina claimed that she took out a $20,000 (£15,000) home equity loan in order to satisfy a blackmail demand from Diddy in 2011. Regina alleged she sent him the money after he threatened to

release sexually explicit videos of her daughter when Cassie began dating rapper, Kid Cudi - who Prosecutor Maurene Comey said is also slated to testify at the trial. The jury was shown an

email from Cassie to her mother on Dec. 23, 2011. In the email, Cassie said that Diddy would release two sex tapes. The email also claimed that Diddy would have someone hurt her and Kid

Cudi, real name Scott Mescudi. “I was physically sick,” Regina told Assistant U.S. Attorney Emily Johnson. “I did not understand it. The sex tape threw me. He was trying to hurt my

daughter.” Regina claimed they took out a home equity loan with her husband to pay Diddy. When Regina received wiring instructions, she wired the money from her checking account to the Bad

Boy account. About four to five days later, the money allegedly came back. Regina said she did not have any conversations with Diddy about the money and she does not have a copy of the

wiring instructions. “I was scared for my daughter’s safety,” she told Johnson. Also testifying on Tuesday was Special agent Gerard Gannon, who claimed law enforcement officials recovered

semi-automatic rifles during the raid of Diddy's home in Miami. Between 80 and 90 law enforcement agents participated in the search because of the size of the property, he said. The

search required the special response team to deal with security measures on the property and about 25 special response team members gained entrance and cleared the property to ensure the

property was safe to start the search. Gannon testified that some agents were positioned on boats to potentially intercept anyone trying to leave the property via the direct water access on

Combs’ property. Photo evidence from one of the rooms in the home included images of AR-15's on a top shelf. Platform high heels, sex toys, baby oil, lingerie and condoms were also seen

in the room. Diddy faces a number of charges in the trial, which is expected to last eight weeks, including racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking by force, fraud or coercion and

transportation to engage in prostitution. He was arrested in September and strongly denies all allegations made against him. He has been held at the Metropolitan Detention Centre in New York

since his arrest and has had a number of bail requests rejected. Article continues below The trial continues. _LIKE THIS STORY? FOR MORE OF THE LATEST SHOWBIZ NEWS AND GOSSIP, FOLLOW MIRROR
