That letter from the DA is mind boggling. The real aggressor, the person holding the gun, becomes the perceived victim because the real victim tries to defend himself. This is the USA in
microcosm: white people are pointing a gun at Black people and, if the Black people try to take the gun away from the white people, the white people are justified in killing the Black
people. How do you and loved ones live with this constant oppression? It must be mind numbingly wearying. Sadly, I don’t see it changing as the USA contains millions of white supremacists,
who strangely see themselves as victims… Take care.
