Then you should know that McKinsey — like every major consulting firm — hires a ton of students (top ones from schools like, oh, OXFORD) right out of university, which by definition means


they have no relevant business experience. They ALSO then usually ship them off to business school a few years later and bring them back with their degree. (Often they pay for the school


with the understanding that the person will then work at the firm for a specific amount of years to pay it back.) This isn’t arcane, random knowledge. It’s pretty basic and widely available.
