In the Eastern Orthodox Church the icon of St Christopher is depicted often as a "giant" and sometimes as a "dog-headed man" (a freak). According to the tradition he


doesn't preach, he doesn't teach, refuses to pray and fast, and never really even enters a church as far as I can tell. The service he gives the world (and God) is to work at a


dangerous river, helping travellers cross safely - a man from the margins giving his life to protect ordinary folk from being overcome by the chaos (of the river). There is no mention of his


musical taste but I suspect it would have been metal :)
