It’s been a struggle for me for longer than I care to admit, and you’re spot on with many of the points you make in which I can relate. While I’ve had some successes, few offered much in the

way of financial stability. Unfortunately, poor health and no insurance has hindered me beyond my decision making, but I did have many moments where I faced what you faced. I had to let go

of preconceived notions of success. I had to stop doing things that were hurting me and find (or more to the point, realize) what I truly had a passion for and make that an attainable goal.

Of course, being a sickly starving artist isn’t what I meant, lol. But I am following my dream and although some milestones were reached, I have a long way to go. Your post reaffirmed my

decisions to pursue happiness however difficult over an easier path that always led to misery.
