President Donald Trump on Friday came out in favor of a partnership between United States Steel Corp. and Japan's Nippon Steel. "I am proud to announce that, after much


consideration and negotiation, US Steel will REMAIN in America, and keep its Headquarters in the Great City of Pittsburgh," Trump said in a post on Truth Social. Trump did not offer


details but said that the partnership would create "at least" 70,000 jobs and $14 billion for the U.S. economy, with most of the investment occurring in the next 14 months. Trump


also announced a rally to mark the occasion next Friday, May 30, in Pittsburgh.
