waves of up to three metres high. AEMET, the State Meteorological Agency of Spain, has issued a yellow coastal warning for the island of Menorca from Thursday, May 22, remaining in place


until Saturday, May 24. The Spanish weather agency has warned of north and northwest winds of 40 to 50 km/h (force 6) and waves of two to three metres high. But despite the warnings in


Menorca, the temperature is set to be a comfortable 20C on Thursday, rising by 1C to 21C at its peak on Friday, before reaching 24C on Sunday, May 25. Elsewhere in mainland Spain, there are


rain and storm warns around Catalonia on Thursday, with up to 20mm rainfall expected to fall within an hour at its worst. Also on Thursday, a rain warning has been issued in Girona.


Similarly on Friday, May 23, more storm and rain warnings have been issued by AEMET affecting large parts of mainland Spain including Alicante, Valencia, Almeria, Granada and more. Warnings
