the latest headlines from around the world. Kate Garraway and Richard Madeley handed over to Ranvir to share the devastating news. Ranvir informed viewers: "Disturbing breaking news
from America, two members of staff from the Israeli embassy in Washington have been shot dead outside the city's Jewish museum. "The man and woman were killed as they left an

announcement that Good Morning Britain will be extended by 30 minutes. The broadcaster revealed that from January 2026, Good Morning Britain will air from 6am until 9.30am, while Lorraine
Kelly's morning talk show will be reduced to 30 minutes, only running for 30 weeks of the year. "GMB will be made by a dedicated team within ITV News at ITN," a press release
from ITV stated. "This change will see ITV bring all its national news gathering into one hub, with Good Morning Britain benefitting from the journalistic and production resources
already in place for national news bulletins, for the website and for digital platforms including ITVX." Lorraine will now only be broadcast for 30 weeks of the year, airing from
9.30am-10am when it's on and when Lorraine is not on air, Good Morning Britain will run from 6am to 10am. This Morning, presented by Cat Deeley and Ben Shephard, will continue in its
10am until 12:30pm slot on weekdays throughout the year. Loose Women will stay in its current 12.30pm to 1.30pm weekday slot but will now also be reduced to 30 weeks of the year. In
February, ITV announced that soaps Coronation Street and Emmerdale would have their content cut by an hour a week between them from next year. Over the past few years, there has been a
decrease in advertising revenue, part of a funding squeeze across the TV industry. ITV Studios, which produces the channel's daytime shows, is consulting with its daytime teams about a
proposal that would see its three editorially distinct shows - Lorraine, This Morning and Loose Women - produced by one team sharing resources and operations from 2026. Article continues
