Corrie star teases 'surprises' as she's seen on set amid 'confirmed' romance

star Natalie Anderson has revealed she is still filming for the long-running show as she was seen on set, and teased 'surprises' to come. The actress made her debut in the ITV soap

earlier this year as Danielle Silverton, the wife of Todd Grimsahw's new love interest Theo Silverton. As fans previously witnessed, Todd took a shine to Theo following their random

meeting on the cobbles last month. They met when a piece of scaffolding, from the site Theo is managing, almost hit Todd's aunt, Julie Carp. Theo apologised, although he later told

George Shuttleworth that Julie was clearly faking her pain as the scaffolding missed her by miles. But when George revealed that Julie has terminal cancer, Theo was left mortified and was

quick to try and make amends. He quickly found himself attracted to Todd and despite being hot and cold, the undertaker wanted to give things a go with Theo. It was later revealed that

Theo's behaviour was because he had a partner and two children, with them all showing up at Shuttleworth's Independent Funeral Services to plan Danielle's mother's

funeral. To try and cover their affair, Theo made out that Todd was in a relationship with Sarah Platt and the former couple have been going along with it. But the truth came crashing out in

scenes aired in April, and Corrie fans haven't seen much of Danielle since. But on Tuesday (May 20), Natalie took to Instagram with a snap of herself inside the studio at the

Trafford-based set and said: "Fun & game in Studio 2." The former Emmerdale star, who fans best know for playing Alicia Gallagher in the Dales, then added: "Stay tuned for

more suprises from Danielle," before adding a winking face emoji. It comes after fans predicted that Danielle could be a new love interest for Jason Grimshaw amid his upcoming return

to Weatherfield. Ryan Thomas has recently been heard discussing his return to the role for the first time in almost 10 years, having left the ITV soap back in 2016 after 16 years. Viewers

saw the builder's storylines mostly revolved around his failed relationships with various women, from Sarah Platt and Rosie Webster, to Becky McDonald and Eva Price. His other

storylines have included being attacked by his enemy Callum Logan, grieving for his father, Tony, after his death off-screen and later becoming a suspect in Callum's murder. He

eventually left Weatherfield after being manipulated by his mother, Eileen's new boyfriend and later husband, Pat Phelan. But, next week, Jason is back. Ryan has previously told how he

is reprising his former role, despite retiring from acting in 2021, after being asked to retunr by his on-screen mum Sue Cleaver as part of her exit storyline after 25 years in the role.

Asked about Jason as a character now, Ryan added: "Jason is still that happy-go-lucky, lovable guy. He makes it up as he goes along, has a loving heart, and is all about family.

"And he certainly hasn’t changed when it comes to women, straight away he is taking someone back home with him and getting himself into hot water with his brother!" And with a

mention of the ladies, some Corrie fans have pondered who could catch his eye during his stint back in Weatherfield - and it wouldn't be a good situation for brother Todd and his new

partner, Theo Silverton. Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, @KatieJukesy shared the new picture of Ryan as Jason in the Rovers Return, and a picture of Natalie Anderson mocked-up

outside the famous boozer, after joining the show earlier this year as Theo's wife, Danielle. Alongside the post, they quoted Ryan's comments: "'And he certainly hasn’t

changed when it comes to women, straight away he is taking someone back home with him and getting himself into hot water with his brother!'" Article continues below They've

now returned to the platform and 'confirmed' the prediction with an early episode synopsis and said: "Will I say told you so? I will." The synopsis from a TV guide read:

"Jason chats up Danielle while unaware of her link to Todd."
