THE BGT JUDGE IS WORTH A STAGGERING AMOUNT, ACCORDING TO REPORTS PUBLISHED EARLIER THIS MONTH 18:25, 31 May 2025 This year's final of Britain's Got Talent takes place on Saturday

night in front of judges Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Bruno Tonioli and Simon Cowell. Ten acts will perform live for their chance to be crowned the 2025 winner on Saturday night - and their

chance to win a spot in the Royal Variety Performance and a cash prize. Cowell, one of the most familiar faces in showbiz, will lead the judging panel. He is also known worldwide for his

judging roles on other shows, such as The X Factor and America's Got Talent. Having started his career in the entertainment industry as a mail room clerk for EMI Music Publishing, the

music mogul climbed his way up the corporate ladder before forming his own record label, S Records. Cowell founded founded media, music and production company Syco Entertainment. As a music

mogul, Cowell has produced and promoted successful singles and albums for artists signed to his record label, such as Little Mix, James Arthur, Labrinth, Leona Lewis, Fifth Harmony, Olly

Murs, Noah Cyrus, Fleur East, Ella Henderson, and Susan Boyle. Article continues below He has also signed hugely popular boy bands Westlife and One Direction. The company produces TV shows

such as America's Got Talent and Britian's Got Talent. According to the Sunday Times Rich List 2025, which was published on May 16, Cowell is worth a staggering £430m - putting him

in 301st place. This is a rise of £15m from 2024. The Sunday Times say the source of this wealth is through Syco Entertainment. However, Cowell has previously said he is not worth anywhere

near as much as people think. After previously being reported that he was worth £492m, he told Elizabeth Day on her How To Fail podcast earlier this month: “Oh God, it's not that.

I'm not even close to that. I'm being serious. I'm not. I've made a lot, I'm not going to lie. I've made a bit of money, yes, but not that much, no." He

added that he still worries about his finances due to the world being 'so precarious'. He added on the podcast: "I always worry about money because I think you have to in a

way." Back in 2011, the TV personality spoke to GQ about his fortune and revealed that he’d leave 'the whole lot to charity' when asked what he’d do with his money. “You can

enjoy it while you’ve got it, and then it’s gone to good causes afterwards." Speaking to MailOnline in 2015, following the birth of his son Eric, he said he found the idea of passing

down wealth from generation to generation 'disgusting'. He said: "As a father, I want my son to be OK, but you know no one ever gave me a penny and I believe part of my drive

was to do with the fact I had nothing to lose. That gives you a lot of energy." Just a year after his son was born, Simon told the Mirror: “I’m going to leave my money to somebody.

"A charity, probably — kids and dogs. I don’t believe in passing on from one generation to another. Your legacy has to be that hopefully you gave enough people an opportunity, so that

they could do well, and you gave them your time, taught them what you know." Article continues below The winner of Britain’s Got Talent will get £250,000 and a spot on the Royal Variety

Performance. Britain’s Got Talent returns on ITV1 and ITVX next Saturday at 7pm.
