VIEWERS ALL MADE THE SAME COMPLAINT AFTER THE FINAL OF THE ITV TALENT SHOW KICKED OFF ON SATURDAY (MAY 31) 19:38, 31 May 2025Updated 19:40, 31 May 2025 Britain's Got Talent was hit with
a number of 'terrible' complaints just minutes into the live final on Saturday (May 31). After the 18th series began back in February, three months later it is now time for the
2025 winner to be crowned. The format of the ITV talent show has undergone several changes this year, with the semi-finals being held weekly instead of daily, and a new golden buzzer that
could be used to send an act straight through to the final. From magicians to singers and dancers, the 10 Britain's Got Talent finalists will now perform one last time in a bid to win
£250,000 as well as a spot at the Royal Variety Performance. But first there was a surprise in store for viewers as the finale kicked off, with one act returning as the wildcard. The
wildcard is an act that was eliminated during the semi-finals, but has now been chosen by the judges to come back for the final. And it was revealed that ABBA tribute act Hannah and Fran
were this year's wildcards. Article continues below The bubbly duo were eliminated in the second semi-final, but Simon Cowell announced he had brought them back as viewers
'loved' them. The office workers were the first act to take to the stage during the final, performing yet another ABBA medley. But viewers were less than impressed with the
judges' wildcard decision, as they took to X to issue the same complaints. @_justjennie wrote: "Sorry wrong choice Simon #wildcard #BGT #BGTFinal," as @JoeyKay20 said:
"Judges wildcard being a terrible ABBA tribute act?! #BGT." @SophieSharpie complained: "I cannot believe they've put Han and Fran through as a wildcard when we had a
woman on a unicycle throwing bowls on her hair and some great musicians and danger acts. Show is a shambles. #bgt #britainsgottalent." Article continues below @samdawkins1234 wrote:
"BGT worst wildcard ever," as @Rayinatorsport echoed: "I cannot believe the worst act of last weeks semi final got the wildcard Sums up this season tbf #bgt." @iAmMe1980s
also complained: "Are they bloody serious?? The judges wildcard is Han and Fran?? Don't get me wrong, they're good but other eliminated acts were so more worthy of a second
shot. My god #BritainsGotTalent #BGTFinal #bgt." @AnthonyShannon2 wrote: "Han & Fran - the wildcard?! Surely there was better acts to bring to the final #BGT," as
@LauraM01234 added: "Han and Fran are the wildcard? That is the most ridiculous decision ever #BGT."
