THE STAR WAS LEFT IN SHOCK AFTER THE INCIDENT THAT HE UPLOADED TO INSTAGRAM 11:52, 22 May 2025 Adam Thomas was left "fuming" as his prank on brother Ryan Thomas went wrong in a

hilarious video as he exclaimed "no way did that just happen". The star played the role of Adam Barton in Emmerdale but left the ITV soap in 2018 after almost a decade on the show.

He exited from the Dales as his character went on the run after falsely admitting to the murder of Emma Barton to cover for his mum. Adam has two other brothers, former Coronation Street

star Ryan Thomas and Love Island's Scott Thomas, with the trio regularly uploading funny pranks and skits with each other. Taking to the Thomas family's official Instagram page,

Adam decided to be sneaky and prank Ryan while he enjoyed the sunshine. While in the kitchen, Adam could be seen with a bottle of Coca Cola as he unscrewed the lid and lifted a row of taped

mints ready to place inside the bottle. Article continues below Unfortunately for Adam, as soon as he placed the mints in the fizzy drink, it exploded everywhere before he had a chance to

close the bottom. With the drink all over the kitchen and himself, a shocked Adam exclaimed: "No, no , you’ve got to be kidding me, Caz (Caroline Thomas) is gonna kill me. No way did

that just happen!" Speaking to Ryan, he asked: "Did you know it was gonna happen? Oh fuming, oh what a nightmare" while still in shock at the hilarious ordeal. Ryan then came

into view to poke fun at his brother as he said: "Really good prank that one!" The brothers recently appeared on Loose Women to promote their latest ITV show, 99 To Beat. It's

an eight-part series that pits 100 contestants against each other, in a style similar to the hit Netflix show Squid Games that rose to popularity in 2021 when the first season was released.

Article continues below Ryan will be making a brief return to Weatherfield as Jason Grimshaw will show up for Eileen's departure from Coronation Street. When asked how it felt being

back, Ryan replied: "Very nostalgic. It takes you down memory lane, place where it all started. Me and Adam are both very grateful for the soaps, because it's why we are who we

are, where we are now. "Coronation Street, Emmerdale, they're iconic, and they're such a big part of our growing up in our lives and Sue is my second mum. It's just a

dream come true to go back to that place and revisit it with the woman who brought me up for 16 years."
