powerful of the Californian tech company's line-up. Newer models of this laptop are powering entire music production studios, or editing feature films. However, not all of us need a

machine that's guiding a NASA space shuttle to Venus. If you're someone who just sends a few emails, browses the web and writes a few documents, you can get away with using A

MACBOOK PRO MODELthat's a few years old. Luckily, A WOWCHER OFFERis currently giving shoppers the chance to pick upA REFURBISHED MODEL OF AN OLDER MACBOOK PROfor much less than normal.

Usually costing £399, these laptops can be grabbed for £159 for a limited time. The models in question are from a few years ago, sporting the Intel Core i5 processor. This was before the

swap to Apple's own silicon with the M1 chips in 2020, and while they'll no doubt be slower than the brand new models, they're still capable machines for basic tasks. You can

choose between either a13-INCH OR 15-INCH MODEL, depending on what size you'd like the screen to be. 15 inches is better for viewing smaller text, while 13 inches is better if you plan

on taking this laptop out and about with you as it's much more portable. In terms of other specs, you're looking at 8GB of RAM, which is enough to run a few programs open at the

same time. There's also 320GB of storage space, which is plenty for documents and a few photos on there too. Asthese MacBooks are refurbished models, they've had previous owners.

However, they've been refurbished by professionals so that they function just as they should have done when they were first unboxed. If you’re looking for the cheapest way to pick up a

brand new MacBook, the M4 VERSION OF THE AIR is your best bet. It was released earlier this year but has already seen a £100 discount at several retailers, including Amazon who’s selling it

for £899.97. Alternatively, you could opt for a tablet device if you’re just interested in checking emails and browsing the web. The SAMSUNG GALAXY TAB A9 is a great option for this, with

Amazon selling it for £79.29 right now. This laptop model is being sold as a Wowcher through Naza Electronics. While there are no customer reviews on the Naza Electronics website, there are

several customers who reported a positive experience of purchasing refurbished MacBooks and other tech through Wowcher. One review reads: “Purchased REFURBISHED MACBOOK PRO in 2023 at an

unbeatably reduced price! As a MacBook user over a decade and a half, I am impressed with the quality of the product - as good as new.” Meanwhile, a second says: “VERY VERY easy, quick and

simple purchase. got an Apple product for an AMAZING price (MACBOOK PRO) and good delivery price for a quick delivery, sooooo happy!!” However, some customers did find that they could have

found the same MacBook model for cheaper elsewhere by looking on online auction sites like EBAY. “I purchased a refurbished Apple MacBook which was advertised as a genuine deal but

unfortunately it wasn't and can be found for a much cheaper price on a major auction house site,” wrote one customer. Article continues below Another had their MacBook arrive in a less

than stellar condition, saying: “Purchased a Macbook Air, it came with dent in it, and isn't even up-to-date enough to get Teams on which is what my son needed it for, and can't

even sell it on as it had huge dent and is pretty much useless for studying with.” It’s worth mentioning that Wowcher has an excellent returns policy with the site allowing returns up to two

weeks after delivery if you aren’t satisfied with your product. You can read more about the policy HERE.
