THIS WEEKEND WILL SEE SOME OF LIVERPOOL'S ASPIRING TALENT TAKE TO THE STAGE 15:21, 21 May 2025 As well as being a great time to see your favourite bands, festivals present an amazing
opportunity for musical discovery. BBC Radio 1’s Big Weekend is no exception. The BBC Introducing stage will be at the festival and not only will be playing some great music, but also gives
aspiring artists, bands and DJ’s the opportunity to play at some of the biggest festivals in the UK. New talent for this year includes hip hop, rap and grime artist KOJ whose lyrics draw on
his experiences growing up in Liverpool, Scouse singer songwriter Pasleigh B, and JayaHadADream who performed at Glastonbury's Woodsies stage last year after winning the festival's
Emerging Talent Competition. Over the years, the stage has helped to kickstart the careers of artists including Florence and The Machine, Catfish and The Bottlemen, Idles, Little Simz and
this year’s Radio 1 Main Stage headliner, Sam Fender. Read on for the full Main Stage line-up for Friday, Saturday and Sunday. RADIO 1 BBC INTRODUCING STAGE - FRIDAY LINE-UP AND SET TIMES
