Content Editor12:38, 04 Jun 2025The new Liverpool Rise site at Exchange Flags A brunch restaurant which has a number of sites across the north of England is preparing to open a new branch


in Liverpool's business district next week. Rise will open its fourth UK site in the city on June 9, located in Exchange Flags.


The brunch chain hopes to bring a "feel-good atmosphere, elevated all-day brunch menu and speciality coffee" to Liverpool's busy business district. With sites in Preston and York, Rise has


earned a loyal following of customers its food, service and interiors.


‌ The first Rise site was opened in 2019 by founders Leigh Norton and Jack Swire in Preston. The second location launched in York in 2022 which was quickly followed by another in Preston in


2023.


‌ The latest site will open in Liverpool's Exchange Flags in the ground floor unit previously occupied by Phillpotts sandwich shop. A fifth location has already been teased for 2026.

Article continues below Customers at the Liverpool site can expect all the Rise staples that have captured over 45,000 Instagram followers, including the most popular menu item - the ‘All


Rise’, which is made using bacon, chorizo, mushrooms, avocado, poaches eggs and sourdough toast.


Rise also offers on-trend açaí bowls, poached eggs and avocado topped with homemade savoury granola and chili oil, as well as a selection of breakfast cakes.


Some Rise menu staples: Breakfast roll, raspberry French toast, açaí bowl, cinnamon roll iced latte and fresh orange juice‌ All items on the menu can be accompanied by Ozone coffee, or


speciality drinks including a cinnamon roll latte or and iced blueberry matcha.


In statement shared with the ECHO on behalf of the brunch business says: "We’re so excited to be bringing our fourth site to Liverpool, we’ve been looking for the right spot here for a


while."


Rise co-founder, Southport-born Leigh Norton said: “Liverpool is a city that radiates energy and creativity, with a strong sense of community - values that are at the very core of Rise.


We’ve always seen it as a natural fit for the brand, and being born in Southport, and spending my childhood in the city makes me so excited to open our doors.”


‌ Fellow co-founder Jack Swire said: “We’ve poured our hearts into every single brunch dish, coffee and smoothie we make for our customers, so this opening is for our amazing team and all


the customers who've supported us from the start of this amazing journey."


The new Liverpool restaurant has been carefully curated to reflect Rise’s signature look - a clean, calming palette of neutral and brown tones, natural textures, and details that bring to


life every corner of the space.
