THE BAGS HAVE PREVIOUSLY BEEN EASILY WORTH HUNDREDS OF POUNDS 12:51, 20 May 2025Updated 13:42, 20 May 2025 The wait for Sephora to finally open in Liverpool ONE is almost over. On Thursday,
May 22, the renowned beauty brand will welcome customers through the doors of its first-ever Merseyside site. On the day, guests can expect live entertainment, exclusive giveaways and a
“celebration like no other.” RuPaul’s Drag Race winner and Halewood’s own Danny Beard will host the activities. The new store is set to be a beauty lover’s dream, with 135 of the world’s
best brands all in one place. Despite all this, many in line will be waiting for the brand’s famous goody bags. Only the first 500 customers will receive one. With this in mind, here’s
everything you need to know about queueing and what to potentially expect to be inside one of the black-and-white gift bags. Liverpool ONE has said queueing will not be permitted any earlier
than 10 pm, the day prior to the store's opening. As the shopping complex is an open-air destination, they also do not recommend queuing overnight. Article continues below If you queue
and need to use the facilities onsite or grab a bite to eat, a ticket system will be in place to allow you to re-enter the queue. At 7 am on Thursday, May 22, Sephora will present the first
500 queue members with fabric wristbands. If you do not have a fabric wristband given by Sephora, you will not be able to claim a goody bag. Those under 16 will not be permitted to queue
without being accompanied by an adult. There will also be a further 150 goody bags available on Friday, May 23 and Saturday, May 24. No goody bags will be available after this date. Sephora
goodie bags can contain a variety of beauty products, including skincare, haircare, makeup, and fragrances. The ones previously handed out for the opening of the brand's Trafford Centre
store included brands like Tatcha, Dyson, Byoma, CAUDALIE, Dr Jart+, Grown Alchemist, Floral Street, and more. These bags often include both full-size and travel-size products, and can be
worth a significant amount - especially when they include Dyson and Jo Malone samples. The new store will move into a 6,727-square-foot space formerly occupied by the shoe and sportswear
brand Footlocker on South John Street. Sephora’s team of beauty advisors will be on hand to offer an array of bookable services across make-up, skincare, hair, and brows. Donna Howitt, place
strategy director at Liverpool ONE, previously said: “We have had an overwhelming response to the upcoming arrival of Sephora at Liverpool ONE and we’re thrilled to be able to announce its
launch date. "Sephora is a globally recognised brand with huge appeal among a wide variety of audiences and we’re incredibly proud to be hosting its first home in the city. “This year
is already shaping up to be one of our biggest yet for store openings, so we’re excited to welcome visitors to experience the fantastic concept that Sephora has lined up for them." The
Liverpool ONE site will be Sephora's eighth UK store, forming the next part of their growing retail portfolio. Sephora UK’s MD Sarah Boyd said: "We have had immense demand from our
fans in Liverpool to open a store in their wonderful city, and we are excited to have found the perfect location. “We have been connecting with local beauty lovers and cultural thought
leaders across the region, and have been blown away by the remarkable warmth, support and energy we have received from everyone. Article continues below "Liverpool truly is a city that
takes great pride in its commitment to community, diversity and celebrating its rich and vibrant history. Liverpool has been a key location in our brand expansion plans, and we were prepared
to wait for the right opportunity, which our amazing Liverpool ONE location provides. "It was, in fact, one of the first cities we visited when we were planning our UK launch, as we
know how vibrant and exciting the local beauty community is. As we prepare to welcome both new and existing customers, we are looking forward to creating an incredible shopping experience in
an exciting store format that reflects the spirit of the city.”
