Sephora's Liverpool ONE store opened this morning (May 22), with hundreds camping out overnight. Sephora occupies a 6,727-square-foot space formerly used by shoe and sportswear brand
Footlocker on South John Street. The first 500 customers through the door this morning received a goody bag of 32 items. Gifts included Fenty Skin Cherry Dub, Medik8 Surface Radiance Cleanse
and One Size Ultimate Setting Powder. A family from Bootle were the first in line, securing their place from 7pm yesterday. The queue stretched from Sephora's doors and along South
John Street, wrapping around to the centre of Paradise Street. Customers were styled in hair rollers by Bumble and Bumble in order to break a world record attempt for the most people in
rollers. Speaking to the ECHO at the store, Sephora UK's MD Sarah Boyd said: "Liverpool is one of the first cities we wanted to come to when we first opened in the UK “It’s so
important from a beauty and culture point of view. "For the first weekend we have quite a large network of entertainment - we have goody bags tomorrow morning for the first 500 people
in the queue, and for the first 150 people on both Friday and Saturday. "We had to calm the entertainment down for Sunday because there is so much going on in Liverpool this
weekend!" Take a look at the all of the best photos from Sephora's launch below.
