THE SCENT SHOULD LAST FOR UP TO A MONTH - AND I'M ALREADY GETTING COMPLIMENTS FROM PASSENGERS 13:56, 31 May 2025 As a shopping writer, I've covered a lot about the discounts and

deals you can find in Home Bargains - but some still manage to surprise me. I rarely get to the motoring section when shopping - but this time I'm glad I did. For years, I've had

the standard hanging trees and worked through most of the options available in the shops, and I can't be the only person who is bored of the same car scents on repeat. With my latest

air freshener long overdue for a change, I tried a cheaper alternative that made my car smell like luxury for less than £1. The Designer Fragrances Savore line is often compared to the

pricer Dior Sauvage. Both have similar fresh and citrusy notes, but one is way cheaper. I'm a fan of the scent anyway - already stocking up on the at-home air fresheners and body sprays

that are sold in Home Bargains. So, now that there's a way to get my car smelling the same as my house, I was all in. The brand recently came out with a line of hanging air fresheners

at Home Bargains that come in four varieties - Savore, One Billion, Xalien and Tu Es Belle. People have compared these budget products to the likes of Dior as well as Paco Rabanne's 1

Million, Alien by Mugler and Lancome's La Vie Est Belle. Article continues below I picked up the Savore option and the One Billion, as my brother likes that version. I wasted no time

setting mine up in the Home Bargains car park, and it did not disappoint. From opening the packet slightly, the scent hits you, and it's just like the rest of the range. The

instructions say that leaving it in the plastic pouch should help meet the claim that this scent lasts for up to 28 days. My brother said his smelled just like the air freshener cans he uses

at home too. It makes a nice change from the usual scents that we'd pick up without much thought from the likes of Asda and Tesco. The string is the perfect length to have the air

freshener in prime position without getting in your way whilst actually driving. It would also work to hang around the house too if you wanted to give a quick boost in a particular room

without having to blast an air freshener can. Article continues below I can't wait to offer people a lift now as I've already had some passengers think I've had a quick spray

of £100 aftershave to hide any bad smells in my car. But the bargain behind my car's luxury scent isn't a secret. Shoppers can get their hands on the air fresheners in Home

Bargains. All options cost 79p each, so it's best to stock up on your favourites - I know I will be!
