State of the art venue shares sneak peak ahead of surprise launch

A NEW EVENT SPACE HAS JUST BEEN REVEALED - AND THE OPENING IS ONLY A FEW WEEKS AWAY 16:01, 21 May 2025 A new electronic dance space is preparing to open in Liverpool's Baltic Triangle.


The 900-capacity venue is designed to celebrate and elevate the city’s electronic music culture. SoundYard is an indoor-outdoor venue set to host a wide spectrum of electronic genres - from


house and disco, to jungle to underground and experimental. The venue will feature state-of-the-art audio and visual technology, creating an immersive environment tailored for both artists


and audiences. Built for both community and club culture, SoundYard sets its focus on both grassroots and global talent with forward-thinking programming. Shifting between open-air day


parties and late-night curated events across house, techno, jungle, garage, and more. Kevin MacManus, head of UNESCO City of Music for Liverpool, said: "Alongside our already existing


network of brilliant grassroots venues we can welcome what looks to be one of the most exciting additions to our already vibrant electronic music scene." Article continues below


SoundYard will collaborate with local collectives including YeahitsRenee, Conduit Sound and many more, as well as bigger international talent, ensuring a diverse and inclusive lineup from


launch onwards. SoundYard hopes to bring people together and support independent culture during the day and into the late hours. Daytime highlights will include a monthly YardSale, featuring


vintage clothing, streetwear, vinyl, and work from local artists, along with live vinyl sets from local DJ’s. Twice a month, Disco Brunch will offer bottomless drinks, shared brunch plates,
