May 15. Verry had already targeted the same store on six occasions when the undercover officers observed him loading a Tesco bag with cold drinks from the Greggs' fridge. Bodycam


footage released by the police showed him taking the items before walking out without paying. As he approaches the door, the officers turn to him and he says "whatever mate" until


they begin to restrain him and place him under arrest. Sky News reported that once he realised they were police officers, he pleaded that he was "not resisting" before blurting


out: "I apologise bruv, I'm sorry." He pleaded guilty to six counts of theft from the shop at Highbury Corner Magistrates' Court on May 16 and was banned from all Greggs


throughout England and Wales. Posting on the force's Facebook page, the Metropolitan Police said: "Banned from the bakery. Article continues below "This sticky fingered thief

"They cause fear to retail workers and their offending has a negative impact on communities. "We continue to work with local business owners to investigate reports of shoplifting,
