minutes. The X Factor runner up is currently travelling across the country with his 15 years of hits tour.

The show came to Liverpool last week as popstar celebrated his industry milestone in style at the M&S Bank Arena. Thousands packed into the waterfront arena and were delighted to hear hits

such as Dear Darling and Troublemaker across the two hour set.

‌ Olly continued the tour in Glasgow last night at the Ovo Hydro Arena. However, the 41-year-old was forced to abandon his set after six songs when he walked off stage.

‌ He has taken to Instagram to apologise to fans as he explained he experienced problems with his voice. Speaking to his followers, he said: "Glasgow, I am so sorry tonight.

"So sorry that I had to walk off after six songs and cancel the show. I have never done this in 15 years. Most of the time, as singers, you can kind of get through it if your voice isn't 100

percent but I walked out tonight thinking my voice was great.

"I maybe felt a little bit rundown but I didn't think I couldn't do the show because I wouldn't have come out there otherwise. So, to walk off after six songs, I am so sorry. 15 years I have

never done this.

being at my best. I am so sorry from the bottom of my heart."

Olly is hoping to continue tonight in Manchester at the AO Arena before moving on to Birmingham tomorrow and then to London on Sunday.

At the show in Liverpool last week, Olly vowed his new tour is going to usher in a "new Murs era" as he treated the audience to an exclusive performance of new single, Save Me.

‌ Fans were thrilled at the M&S Bank Arena across the two hour show. The strongest performance of the night came when the mood shifted to a more sombre tone as Olly sung Dear Darling, a song

he dedicated to his X Factor co-host, Caroline Flack, who died in 2020. He told the crowd: "I genuinely think about her every day.

"I know that feeling of losing someone that you love very much. With this song, I want you to think of those people and sing with me." The thousands in attendance shone the lights on their

phone and sung along with every word to the 2012 ballad.

One of the liveliest exchanges came during a segment of the tour when Olly gives his long-serving band the opportunity to "embarrass" him on stage and share a photo from the singer's long

career in the limelight.

‌ The singer laughed as he told the crowd: "On this part of the show, I have absolutely no idea what is about to appear on that screen." Olly was in stiches when the image selected for the

Liverpool gig was one of him touching the iconic This Is Anfield sign at the home of Liverpool FC.

As the image popped up on the gigantic screen, it divided the crowd as loud cheers from Liverpool FC supporters were mixed with boos from the Evertonians in attendance. However, Olly soon

united the room when he revealed his football allegiances lie with a team down the M62. He said: "Of course, this will probably get the biggest boo of the night. I am a Manchester United

fan."

The singer was in hysterics as he was jeered by the crowd before he joked: "Shall I go?" The crowd weren't ready for the show to stop just yet and urged him to stay on as he moved into

another of his pop hits.
