More than 60 supercars and hypercars will descend on Leicestershire this weekend for a major charity event. The Alex's Wish Supercars Event will feature the only Bugatti Divo in the UK

as its star attraction. The event is now in its fifth year and has attracted headline sponsor Silverstone alongside local dealerships Bentley Leicester, Lamborghini Leicester, and Lumbers

Jewellers. Organisers said this year's event promises to be the biggest and boldest yet with the backing of the major sponsors. The Supercars of Birmingham Community, which came up with

the original idea for the event, will bring 25 supercars along on Sunday, June 1. Attendees will get the exclusive chance to see the hypercar up close and snap photos of the machine. READ

MORE: Meet the boy with a hole in his heart who has a passion for full-throttle racing The Bugatti Divo is a hypercar manufactured by Bugatti Automobiles S.A.S and was unveiled in August

2018 during the Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance. It's based on the Chiron but was developed with a focus on handling and agility rather than top speed. The vehicle is powered by

an 8.0-litre quad-turbocharged W16 engine producing 1,479 horsepower. Bugatti states the Divo has a limited top speed of 236mph, which is lower than the Chiron's, due to increased

downforce and aerodynamic changes. Only 40 units of the Divo were produced and all were pre-sold before its public debut. The car was named after Albert Divo, a French racing driver who won

the Targa Florio race twice for Bugatti in the 1920s. Organisers said there will be two Supercars Big Rev-Up sessions throughout the day, with guests able to enjoy all engines revving

together. Entertainment will include live music from a DJ and brass band, with the Dako Flying Angels acrobatic show performing twice throughout the day. Emma Hallam, founder of Alex's

Wish, said: "This year's Supercars Event is going to be unforgettable. We're incredibly excited to welcome Silverstone and our other generous sponsors. Every moment of this

event – from the roar of the engines to the joy of the family activities – drives us closer to our mission to cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy." Joe Latham, business development manager

at Silverstone, added: "It is always fun to take Silverstone on the road and to be given an opportunity to talk about our exciting line up of events and products. We are looking

forward to attending Alex's Wish Supercar event and to meeting new and existing fans of our sport while supporting such a worthwhile cause." Activities will include multiplayer

race simulators and tractor rides for children at no extra charge, with street food including BBQ, taco lab, stone baked pizzas, pasta, sweet treats and bubble waffles, plus a licensed bar

and coffee van. A charity raffle will be drawn at 2pm featuring prizes including a TAG Heuer Formula 1 Black Dial Watch worth £1,350, with all proceeds going to Alex's Wish - a

Leicestershire-based charity fighting to cure Duchenne Muscular Dystrophy. Tickets cost £25 for a family, £10 for an adult and £8 for a child, with the event taking place at Ratcliffe

College, Fosse Way, Ratcliffe on the Wreake, LE7 4SG, with free car parking and disabled parking available plus accessible toilets on site. We are now bringing you the latest updates on
