Emmerdale fans are convinced that they've "uncovered" Liam Cavanagh's long-lost son, and he's already in the Dales. The village doctor made his debut back in 2014

and has been at the centre of some gripping storylines ever since. His daughter, Leanna, was notably murdered by serial killer Meena Jutla in 2021, and last year, Liam began a relationship

with child killer Ella Forster, before having an affair with Chas Dingle, his current fiancée. Liam was also involved in the soap's huge limo crash in February, which resulted in the

deaths of Leyla Harding, Amy Barton and Suzy Merton. Now, Emmerdale fans are convinced that Liam will be reunited with an unexpected relative following the arrival of newcomer Lewis Barton.

Lewis made his debut last week as Ross Barton's secret half-brother. Ahead of his appearance, Moira Dingle stumbled upon a letter intended for "The Family of Emma Barton".

Despite her nervousness, Moira told Ross about the letter and he decided to meet up with Lewis. However, he struggled to address Lewis's probing questions about their shared history

without unveiling the family secrets he's kept buried for years. Soap viewers will recall that Moira was responsible for Emma's death back in 2017 after the villain kidnapped her

baby, Isaac, and taunted her about being a terrible parent. Emma even suggested that Moira killed her own daughter, Holly Barton, who tragically died from a drug overdose back in 2016.
