Stephen Mulhern was left red-faced during a recent episode of ITV's Catchphrase when he accidentally gave away the answer. The 48-year-old presenter was joined by Jeremy Vine, Charlie

Hedges, and comedian Luke Kempner when he made the rare mistake. As they watched an animated clip depicting pastries with escalating prices that eventually burst through a building's

roof, Stephen blurted out: "Literally, the prices have gone through the roof!" It took a moment before he realised his slip-up, prompting laughter from the contestants. A puzzled

Jeremy buzzed in after the gaffe, asking: "Sorry, what? Was that the answer?" as Stephen covered his mouth in disbelief. Admitting to his error, Stephen chuckled: "I have

never in my life done that. In 10 years!" while burying his face in his hands. Luke couldn't resist commenting as he said: "I was just thinking 'this is a very tricky

one, if it's not that,'" suggesting that the host had inadvertently boosted his winnings. Jeremy couldn't help but make a historical quip, saying: "We've got a

bit of Catchphrase history here," and teasingly compared Stephen to former host Roy Walker, who never made such a blunder. Celebrity Catchphrase, which Stephen has been presenting since

its revival in 2013, has been confirmed for an 11th series. Gemma John-Lewis, an ITV commissioner, expressed excitement about the renewal: "We're delighted to announce a further

series of the much loved family favourite, Celebrity Catchphrase," reports the Express. Catchphrase's enduring popularity is a welcome boost for Stephen, after it was confirmed

that his other programme, In For A Penny, had been axed following a successful six-series run. Despite this setback, insiders hinted that the show might be revived. "Whilst Stephen is

busy filming other projects over the summer, In For A Penny continues to be a much loved format for ITV," a source confided to TV Zone. "So don't put your pennies away just

yet as the team could be popping up in your local town, to challenge even more members of the public to take part in their unique and madcap games in the future." Meanwhile, earlier

this year, it was confirmed that Stephen would be hosting the new series of You Bet! solo with his co-star Holly Willoughby taking a back-step due to conflicting schedules. However, the

former This Morning star confirmed recently that she would in fact be joining Stephen as a special guest on the ITV show instead of taking up a presenter role. Sharing the news with her 8.2m

followers on Instagram, Holly said: "You Bet! Just lovely to be back with @stephenmulhern and the whole team this week." CELEBRITY CATCHPHRASE SUNDAY EVENINGS AT 7:00 PM ON ITV
