Emmerdale first look sees robert sugden's real reason for return unveiled

Emmerdale has revealed Robert Sugden's real reason to return in an explosive first look. On Wednesday night, just as Robert's ex-husband Aaron Dingle was about to say 'I

do' to John Sugden, who is Robert's long-lost half brother, Robert gatecrashed the wedding. The two grooms were about to exchange vows when Robert burst through the doors, saying:

"Hello Aaron, miss me?" with the episode ending on a cliffhanger. However, soap watchers can catch a glimpse at Thursday's episode thanks to an explosive first look. Taking to

Instagram after the huge reveal, Emmerdale's official account posted a behind-the-scenes montage of Ryan's return with actors Ryan Hawley and Danny Miller, who plays Aaron,

sharing their excitement. The clip ended with a special first look glimpse at Thursday's episode where Aaron says: "What are you doing here?" to which Robert replies:

"Isn't it obvious? I'm saving you from making the biggest mistake of your life." Aaron then walks over to Robert as John tries to stop him to which Robert adds:

"Sorry, I guess I forgot my invitation!" Soap watchers will have to tune in on Thursday night to see how Robert's return plays out. It comes as Robert actor Ryan, 39, said of

his return: "Robert's back after six years! And a lot has happened during this time in the village and for Robert. "Two very different worlds, the village and Robert's

reality in prison. And out of the blue, just in the nick of time, Robert turns up at Aaron’s wedding to John. "It sets up a fantastic few episodes to finish off the wedding week which

shows how the incident of Robert turning up will resolve itself. "It's a massive dilemma for Aaron, who's found John as a new love in his life and then he's got Robert,

who used to be the love of his life, turn up! "He's got a massive decision to make. I guess all the weight is on Aaron's shoulders. What's Robert doing there, has he got

ulterior motives, does he know something about John? How has he even found out that this wedding was taking place? "There's alot to unpick and so much to be revealed over the next

few nights. It's a great few episodes and I’m really excited to see them." Teasing whether Robert is back for good, Ryan added: "Well Ryan is back, but Robert is still
