Los Angeles Mayor James K. Hahn announced Tuesday that about 3,500 jobs and internships are available this summer for the city’s at-risk youth. People between the ages of 14 and 21 may apply


for about 3,000 jobs that begin July 8 as library assistants, child recreation counselors and other posts. In addition, 400 middle school and high school students already have signed up for
