The City Council will vote Tuesday on a local restaurant’s request to serve distilled liquor to customers in addition to beer and wine.
The Laguna Beach Brewing Co. wants to join other downtown restaurants that serve liquor.
But Councilman Wayne Peterson recently filed an appeal against the request, saying the increased liquor sales downtown might create more problems for the police and discourage families and
senior citizens from visiting the area.
