More than 100 police and firefighters are expected to participate in a crime prevention and public safety fair today at the West Los Angeles VA Medical Center. Officials will discuss safety
at home and work, and parents can have their children fingerprinted and registered with the LAPD, said Joe Davidson, a center spokesman. Additionally, there will be presentations with police
helicopters, K-9 dogs, SWAT and bomb disposal teams as well as fire engines and the hazardous material cleanup unit from the Fire Department. The fair will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at
