Increasingly, thousands of motorcycles are operating on our roads without mufflers of any kind. These vehicles literally blast the air with violent noise, with flames literally shooting from


the open exhaust pipes. Also, with a critical fire season approaching, these unregulated motorcycles, with no spark arresters or mufflers, create a large potential for fire hazard, as they
