Offering a helping hand to former students, Cal State Northridge will hold a job fair on Wednesday, featuring representatives from 70 companies. The event, aimed at graduates, will take
place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Northridge Center of CSUN’s University Student Union. Participants are urged to bring copies of their resumes and dress appropriately, accordingly to
career specialist Ann Morey. “Come prepared to ask some questions,” she said. From 1:30 to 4 p.m., employers will conduct on-site interviews. Present will be representatives of American
Express, the California Highway Patrol, Farmers Insurance Group, the FBI, Great Western Bank, Pacific Bell, Starbucks coffee and Universal Studios Hollywood. “It’s a good way to get yourself
out in front of employers and start meeting them,” Morey said. “The job market is back up. Things are bouncing back a bit.” Fair parking will be free in Lot C along Zelzah Avenue, she said.
