air it out v. to maximize speed and height of a jump. “Dude, he hit that bump and aired it out.”


bonk v. to hit an object (often a tree) during a jump in an attempt to change direction or complete a maneuver. Syn. poke


mock v. to get in position for a jump or jockey aggressively for position on crowded slopes.


rail slide n. a jump completed by landing on and sliding down a railing of some kind, as on a set of stairs.


sick air n. jump so outrageously dangerous that one is presumed to be mentally ill to try. “Did you see Matt go off that 10-foot cliff? That was sick air.” Syn. hospital air
