Cal Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks will present its Landry Medal for 1995 to Lodwrick M. Cook, chairman and former chief executive of Arco.
The medal, named for former Dallas Cowboys Coach Tom Landry, was established to honor those who are an inspiration to America’s youth, providing “leadership and inspiration through strong
Christian commitment.”
Previous recipients include retired UCLA basketball Coach John Wooden, former Cowboys quarterback Roger Staubach, former California Gov. George Deukmejian, former President Gerald Ford and
entertainer Bob Hope.
