I read your article “Affordable-Housing Project Rejected” (Aug. 8) and was disappointed to find omissions and inaccuracies that made the article unbalanced in its tone and structure.
Affordable housing was only one aspect of the Queue-Up Corp.’s project to which the United Homeowners Assn. objected. The other elements of Queue-Up’s plans were a 1950s-style restaurant and
a child care-senior citizens complex. It was the mixed-use design to which we, (the association), voiced our objections. The article seems to have been driven by randomly selected
information rather than by facts central to the Wichstand project proposal. Hence, the article creates a negative perception of the residents in the Windsor Hills, View Park and View Heights
