hiring site, but in this rural area, locations are limited. In addition to these efforts, a group known as PATCH (People Aiding Topanga Canyon Homeless), which grew out of discussions at the
Town Council, is now feeding 40 to 60 day laborers every weekday morning. I wish your reporters would check a little more thoroughly before recycling quotes. I did say that I’m not a racist
and that I’m a member of the ACLU, but that was after The Times printed the erroneous statement that the Town Council had voted to rat on employers and had set up a hot line to do so. JAN
