The Austria-based Alban Berg Quartet has been forced to cancel its 15-date U.S. tour, which included concerts at Beckman Auditorium, Caltech, on Feb. 22 and the Arnold Schoenberg Institute,
USC, Feb. 25. According to a spokeswoman for Coleman Concerts, sponsors of the Caltech event, cellist Valentin Erben is suffering from tendinitis. The Borodin Trio will replace the Berg at
