Lakewood: wound found dead inside apartment

A Latina woman was found dead in her home in the 5000 block of Hayter Avenue in Lakewood about 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 12.


Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department officials said deputies found the woman dead inside her apartment when they were checking up on her. Homicide detectives were called in to investigate


the woman’s death. Detectives believe the woman may have died as a result of a domestic dispute, but they did not give details on the cause of death.
