Oct. 7, 2007 9:12 PM PT _This article was originally on a blog post platform and may be missing photos, graphics or links. See About archive blog posts._ Good morning, Tavita Pritchard, you
are now on the all-name team. The L.A. Times this morning catches a vibe that’s been buzzing on blogs for a while now: sellers are quick to second-guess their agents and Realtors these days:
‘As property prices stall and homes become harder to sell, buyers and sellers are looking more closely at the performance of their agents and holding them accountable for what they do -- or
fail to do.’ The article details rising complaints against agents, and points out the profession attracted thousands of newbies in recent years, which makes inexperience a part of the
problem. Since this post will be about the professionalism and worth of agents, we want to throw this angle in, at Cal’s suggestion: Does your agent have any responsibility to guide you
through the financing process? Commenter Ace says they don’t: ‘Typically, a real estate agent is not responsible or even involved in the financing of the house. That is not their job.’ _Your
