AC Milan are reportedly set to offer Chelsea €7m (£6m) to sign Hakim Ziyech on loan for the season, who is also wanted by Leeds United this summer as a potential replacement for Raphinha.
According to CalcioMercato, the title-winning Serie A sides are ramping up their interest to sign Ziyech after missing out on numerous targets already this summer, such as Newcastle
United-bound defender Sven Botman and Renato Sanches, who is now reportedly strongly wanted by PSG. With Ziyech to set to leave Chelsea this summer, the £34m attacker could be an outstanding
addition for many sides, with Leeds also reportedly in the chase for the 29-year-old winger as star player Raphinha looks closer than ever to departing Elland Road in the coming weeks. As
reported by the Athletic, Arsenal are set to intensify their efforts on signing Raphinha next week, with other clubs also interested in the Brazilian international, and for Leeds, losing out
on Ziyech to Milan could be a huge blow to their transfer plans. Whilst the Chelsea star is quite an ambitious target, to begin with, Ziyech ticks a lot of boxes that Raphinha fills out in
terms of qualities on the pitch and style of play, and Leeds will have to replace the winger perfectly this summer once he departs Yorkshire for either north London or beyond. Indeed, Ziyech
has proven over the years that he can be incredible when he is the main man of the show, something he has never been given during his three seasons so far at Chelsea, and Milan or Leeds
could offer the Moroccon star this privilege next year should he sign for either club. MILAN OFFER TO SIGN ZIYECH IS THE LAST THING LEEDS WANTED TO SEE After a historic title-winning season,
Milan’s attractiveness as a club is as high as it has been in years, and the Rossoneri making a move to sign Ziyech could blow Leeds out of the water in their chase to sign the Premier
League attacker this summer. After all, replacing Raphinha will be one of the most important transfers Jesse Marsch makes all summer, and Ziyech’s profile is exactly what the Whites should
be targeting if they can beat the likes of Milan to the winger’s signing, something that now looks unlikely following this latest update.
