Speaking on US TV station ESPN, Don Hutchison has named Marcelo Bielsa as the Premier League manager he thinks is the most likely to be sacked next.
Hutchison states that he would hate it if Bielsa was sacked by the Whites, but he claims that if United slip any further down the table, he could see the Elland Road outfit panicking and
making a snap decision.
Hutchison said that Bielsa is the most likely manager to be sacked.
“Knowing Watford’s model it’s likely to be Roy Hodgson! That’s a good question, that’s a hard question. It’s a hard one because I don’t really think anyone is under that amount of pressure,
teams at the bottom have already changed managers. I don’t think Leeds would sack Bielsa, but I’m going to go with Bielsa, even though I would hate that to happen, because if they drift and
lose two or three more they might start to panic,” Hutchison said.
Burnley and Norwich are likely to stick with Sean Dyche and Dean Smith even if they’re relegated, while Frank Lampard and Roy Hodgson have only just arrived at Everton and Watford.
Thomas Frank is still performing above expectations at Brentford, while Patrick Vieira is building quite a promising project at Crystal Palace.
Brendan Rodgers is a contender, but he has a lot of credit in the bank at Leicester.
Bielsa probably isn’t likely to be sacked, but if Leeds go on another bad run, his job could, sadly, be in danger.
