Drug de-addiction week is being celebrated in district Baramulla from 29th April to 5th May. In this connection “RAAHAT”, an NGO, in collaboration with civil society Soporeorganised a road


show in Sopore in Saturday. In the rally, members of civil society, economic allianceand students participated. While shouting slogans, the participants were holdingbanners and placards and


marched through various markets of the town. Chairman “RAAHAT” AashiqHussainZaki said drugaddition was emerging as a serious problem. “We have already lost one generation to conflict, now we


arelosing our youth because of to drug addiction. We need a comprehensive approachto deal with this grave issue. In this connection we are trying to involve allstakeholders of society to


fight against drug menace,” Zaki said.
