A delegation of Federation Chambers of Industries Kashmir (FCIK) under the presidentship of Mohammad Ashraf Mir Monday called on Finance Ministrer Syed Mohammad Altaf Bukhari and discussed
various issues relating to the industrial fraternity, included extension in SRO 39. According to a statement, the FCIK also dmeanded implementation of guideline regarding reservation of
purchase of items manufactured by local industrial units, refund of GST paid by industrial units, refund of 33 percent of interest paid by unit holders for accounts restructured in 2016 and
implementation of various announcements made by the government in the budget 2018-19. The visitng traders also sought waiver of surcharges for electrical dues to sick industry, flood period
and turmoil of 2016. Besides this the delegation urged the FM to pursue with the central government for extending the incentives granted to North-eastern states to J&K.
