on streamlining environmental assessments in marine protected areas (MPAs) to reduce the delays and uncertainties involved in carrying them out. We intend to consult on this in 2024.

bodies * statutory nature conservation bodies * other public authorities whose functions may affect MPAs * marine developers The proposed guidance aims to help these groups consider how to
