FEEDBACK RECEIVED SUMMARY OF RESPONSES HTML ------------------------- ORIGINAL CONSULTATION SUMMARY Defra is seeking views on best practice guidance for developing compensatory measures in

Marine Protected Areas (MPAs). We are keen to hear from marine industries affected by the consenting process. THIS CONSULTATION WAS HELD ON ANOTHER WEBSITE. This consultation ran from

11:30AM ON 22 JULY 2021 TO 11:45PM ON 30 SEPTEMBER 2021 CONSULTATION DESCRIPTION We want to know what you think about the proposed guidance for developing compensatory measures. We are

particularly keen to hear from marine industries affected by the consenting process on how applicable and feasible the guidance is. We have developed this guidance to assist: * regulatory

bodies * statutory nature conservation bodies * other public authorities whose functions may affect MPAs * marine developers The proposed guidance aims to help these groups consider how to

reduce and mitigate impacts on the marine environment within MPAs and, when applicable, how to deliver compensatory measures. SHARE THIS PAGE The following links open in a new tab * Share on
