My history with Global Voices spans over a decade. I started in 1995 as a translator into French and a writer about China-Africa, as I was living in Beijing back then. In 2019, I joined as

Managing Editor, and later as Francophone Editor to reshape the newsroom, explore new forms of writing and training in multiple languages, and launched several new projects. Starting in May

2025, I am Editor at large which takes me back to writing, interviewing, also editing in French and focusing on three main areas: Taiwan and the sinophone diasporas; Francophone Africa and

Central Europe and Ukraine.
