Police are appealing for witnesses after a man was assaulted by a group of men near a Surrey train station. The incident is reported to have happened near Salfords Rail Station at around


10.45pm on Thursday night (May 29).


Surrey Police said the victim was walking down an alleyway directly opposite the station when he was approached by two men who pushed him into a fence. A further four men then approached the


victim where they proceeded to assault him before running away, the force added.


Five of the suspects are described as white men wearing hoodies. One suspect has been described as a black man wearing a hoodie.
