The companys new chicken houses, near Sherwood Forest in Nottinghamshire, will handle 225,000 birds.

They will live in large houses with verandahs and can move freely around their territory – a mixture of woodland, pasture, long grass and cover crops.

The habitat created was inspired by the Red Jungle Fowl, the ancestor of the domestic chicken.
