New rules on shipments bound for Dominican Republic

APL is cautioning that vessels arriving at ports in Dominican Republic from Jan. 1 must comply with a new Dominican Republic customs regulation which mandates that all inbound bills of

lading include the shipper, consignee and notify party tax identifications, or alternatively ID or passport numbers.    APL said any bills of lading not complying with this will result in

penalties and delays of cargo delivery.
