Hyundai to use Purfresh in reefer containers The Korean ocean carrier Hyundai Merchant Marine has struck a partnership with Fremont, Calif.-based Purfresh to provide temperature control
systems in refrigerated containers. Purfresh Transport delivers continuous, low-concentration doses of ozone into refrigerated containers to kill molds, yeasts and bacteria in the air and
on surfaces, as well as to consume and regulate ethylene levels. The carrier said it will 'prevent decay and control ripening during transport of produce in refrigerated
