CONSOLIDATED FREIGHTWAYS OPENS LOREDO TERMINAL    Consolidated Freightways on Friday opened what it says is the largest less-than-truckload terminal on the U.S./Mexico border, near Laredo,


Texas.    The 93-door, 51,000-square-foot terminal is part of CF Mexico's $17-million project to expand and upgrade its capabilities to serve the cross-border trade. The terminal can


handle up to 2 million pounds of freight per day and will employ about 100 people.    Laredo is one of 22 terminals in CF's Mexico division, including 13 along the U.S. border and nine
